  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, garlic, lemon juice, and salt to make tzatziki sauce.
  4. Warm pita breads in a dry skillet or microwave for 30 seconds.
  5. Assemble gyros by placing chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and red onion on pita breads. Top with tzatziki sauce.
  6. Fold pita breads and serve immediately.
