Description
A quick and creamy shrimp Alfredo pasta dish ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Freshly grated Parmesan melts better than pre-shredded.
