Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in broccoli and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
  6. Pour sauce into skillet and bring to a simmer.
  7. Return beef to skillet and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
