A quick and easy beef and broccoli skillet ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef and cook until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in broccoli and cook for 2 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
- Pour sauce into skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Return beef to skillet and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
Notes
- Slice beef thinly for quick cooking.
- Adjust soy sauce for saltiness preference.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
