- 8 oz noodles (udon, rice, or spaghetti)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour in water and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Add cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
- Double the sauce if you prefer a saucier dish.
