Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (udon, rice, or spaghetti)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Pour in water and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
