Description
Crispy and flavorful Asian sticky chicken made easily in the air fryer. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner with minimal cleanup.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the remaining marinade.
- Heat the marinade in a small saucepan until thickened.
- Toss cooked chicken in the sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly coat chicken with oil before air frying.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
- Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables.
