These air fryer chocolate chip cookies are quick to make and come out perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without heating up the whole kitchen!

- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough and place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
- Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool in the basket for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For softer cookies, air fry for a shorter time.
- You can substitute half of the chocolate chips with nuts for added texture.
- Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
