- 4 medium beets, peeled and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the beet wedges with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and herbs if using until fully coated.
- Place the beets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry the beets for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
- Once beets are fork-tender and slightly crispy on the edges, remove them from the air fryer.
- Serve warm as a side dish or in salads.
Notes
- Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the beet wedges.
- For more flavor, marinate the beets in the oil and seasonings for 30 minutes before air frying.
