  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

This air fryer breaded fish recipe results in a crispy, golden coating while keeping the fish moist and tender inside. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a healthy meal option!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each fish fillet in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  6. Dip the floured fillet into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  7. Coat the fish in breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.
  8. Repeat for all fillets.
  9. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush lightly with olive oil.
  10. Place the breaded fish fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  11. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden brown and cooked through.
  12. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add herbs like parsley or dill to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your fish fillets.
  • Pair with a fresh salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
