Description
Crispy air fryer wings with a sweet and spicy Caribbean rum glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat dry the wings with a paper towel.
- Toss wings with oil, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Cook wings in batches for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
- In a saucepan, combine rum, brown sugar, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, garlic, allspice, and cayenne. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Toss cooked wings in the glaze.
- Return to air fryer for 3 minutes to caramelize.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh lime juice for best flavor.
- Adjust cayenne for desired heat.
- For extra crispiness, pat wings dry twice before cooking.
