  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Juicy and flavorful chicken kabobs made effortlessly in the air fryer! Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a fun BBQ.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Thread the marinated chicken, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
  5. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches.
  6. Cook the kabobs in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove the kabobs from the air fryer and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference, such as zucchini or cherry tomatoes.
  • For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
