- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
- Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated chicken nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching to ensure even cooking.
- Spray the nuggets lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- Make sure the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- For extra flavor, you can add Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
