Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, soak the chicken tenderloins in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each tenderloin in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  5. Place the coated tenderloins in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
