- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a bowl, soak the chicken tenderloins in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each tenderloin in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Place the coated tenderloins in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs or spices to the flour mixture.
- Serve with your choice of dipping sauce, such as ranch or honey mustard.
