Description

Crispy and delicious air fryer chicken tenders coated in panko breadcrumbs for a golden finish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • as needed cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, place the flour. In a third bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the panko mixture, pressing to adhere.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching.
  6. Spray the top of the chicken tenders with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
  8. Remove the chicken tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, consider double-dipping the chicken tenders in egg and panko.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or BBQ sauce.
