Crispy and delicious air fryer chicken tenders coated in panko breadcrumbs for a golden finish.

- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- as needed cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, place the flour. In a third bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dredge each chicken tender first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the panko mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching.
- Spray the top of the chicken tenders with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
- Remove the chicken tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, consider double-dipping the chicken tenders in egg and panko.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or BBQ sauce.
