- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and rub the spice mixture all over the thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin-side up, and make sure they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, you can spray the chicken skin lightly with cooking spray before air frying.
- Adjust the cooking time based on the size of your chicken thighs.
