Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and rub the spice mixture all over the thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin-side up, and make sure they are not overcrowded.
  5. Cook for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, you can spray the chicken skin lightly with cooking spray before air frying.
