- 4 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans (chopped (optional))
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Core the apples and make a shallow cut around the circumference to prevent bursting.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Stir in nuts if using.
- Stuff the mixture into the cored apples.
- Place the stuffed apples in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
- Serve warm, optionally drizzled with caramel or topped with ice cream.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by using less sugar or adding honey.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream for a delicious dessert.
