Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast or beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fajita seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortillas, for serving
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, cheese, cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced chicken or beef, bell pepper, onion, olive oil, fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss until everything is well coated.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Place the fajita mixture in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  4. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken or beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Serve in warm tortillas with your choice of toppings.
