Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings, thawed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Add chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the marinated chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the wings from the air fryer and drizzle with any remaining honey garlic sauce from the marinade. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
