Crispy and delicious air-fried okra that’s easy to make and perfect as a snack or side dish.

- 1 pound Fresh okra (Trimmed and sliced)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Cornmeal
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Add the trimmed and sliced okra to the bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat the okra evenly with the oil and the seasoning mix.
- Place the okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping.
- Once the okra is golden brown and crispy, remove it from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can adjust the seasoning to your taste. Add more spices if you like a bit of heat.
- For a gluten-free version, substitute the all-purpose flour with a gluten-free flour blend.
