Fluffy and delicious pancakes made in the air fryer for a quick and easy breakfast.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are fine.
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of pancake batter into the basket for each pancake. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the pancakes in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the pancakes from the air fryer and repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For thicker pancakes, let the batter sit for a few minutes before cooking.
- You can add chocolate chips or blueberries to the batter for extra flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on the size and thickness of the pancakes.
