Crispy and flavorful teriyaki chicken wings made in an air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep frying.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic to make the teriyaki sauce.
- In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water and add to the sauce. Simmer in a pan until thickened.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10-12 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Toss the wings in the teriyaki sauce and serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
Notes
- Pat the wings dry before cooking for extra crispiness.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Double the sauce if you prefer extra saucy wings.
