Delicious apple cinnamon rolls with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Warm milk and butter until melted, then mix with dry ingredients.
- Add the egg and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread with cinnamon, brown sugar, and diced apples.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese with a little water for glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- Use tart apples for best flavor.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
- Best served warm.
