- 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup crushed crackers
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil asparagus in salted water for 3 minutes, then drain.
- Mix crushed crackers, cheese, butter, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Layer asparagus in a baking dish and top with the cracker mixture.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
