Description

Ingredients

  • 1 round of brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • 1 package of puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it’s large enough to wrap around the brie.
  3. Place the brie in the center of the puff pastry.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce on top of the brie, then sprinkle with chopped walnuts and drizzle with honey. Add fresh rosemary if using.
  5. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the brie, pinching to seal. Trim any excess pastry if necessary.
  6. Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the puff pastry with the beaten egg to give it a golden color when baked.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.
