- 4 cod fillets
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Place cod fillets in a baking dish. Pour the Parmesan garlic butter mixture over the fillets, making sure they are well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a crispier topping, broil the cod for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- You can substitute cod with other white fish like halibut or tilapia.
