A delicious recipe for baked lobster tails with garlic herb butter sauce served with creamy mashed potatoes.
Ingredients

- 4 lobster tails (6–8 oz each)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the top of each lobster tail shell lengthwise and lift the meat out, leaving it attached at the base.
- Place lobster tails on a baking sheet.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Brush half of the garlic herb butter over the lobster tails.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lobster meat is opaque.
- While lobster bakes, boil potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Drain potatoes and mash with milk, butter, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
- Serve baked lobster tails with remaining garlic herb butter and mashed potatoes.
Notes
- Use fresh lobster tails for best results.
- Adjust garlic to taste.
- Serve immediately for optimal flavor.
