- 1 lb bavette steak
- 4 cloves garlic, roasted
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Wrap garlic cloves in foil and roast for 20 minutes.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steak and let it rest.
- In the same pan, melt butter. Add roasted garlic, beef broth, and thyme. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Slice the steak and serve with the pan sauce.

- Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- Use fresh thyme for the best flavor.
