- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, coating both sides evenly.
- Place the ribs on the grill or in the oven, bone side down, and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce every 10 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill or oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
