- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Cook patties on the grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach desired doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bun and adding your favorite toppings.
