These BBQ chicken sliders are a perfect party food or game day snack! Tender shredded chicken smothered in BBQ sauce, served on soft slider buns with a crunchy slaw.

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup coleslaw mix
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pickles for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
- In another bowl, combine coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
- Top the chicken with a generous amount of coleslaw.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the coleslaw.
- Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the buns are golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with pickles if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to use store-bought rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
- You can customize the slaw by adding ingredients like diced apples or nuts for extra crunch.
