- 6 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs.
- Place the chicken thighs on the grill, skin side down. Grill for about 6-7 minutes.
- Flip the chicken thighs and brush BBQ sauce on the skin side. Grill for another 6-7 minutes.
- Flip again and brush more BBQ sauce on the other side. Grill for an additional 5-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
