Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  4. Place the chicken thighs on the grill, skin side down. Grill for about 6-7 minutes.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs and brush BBQ sauce on the skin side. Grill for another 6-7 minutes.
  6. Flip again and brush more BBQ sauce on the other side. Grill for an additional 5-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
