- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Flip the chicken thighs and brush the BBQ sauce generously on the skin side.
- Continue grilling for another 5-7 minutes, then flip again and brush more BBQ sauce.
- Grill until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), about 20-25 minutes total.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
