Description

Tender pulled chicken smothered in BBQ sauce served on soft sliders with a crunchy coleslaw topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite variety)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup coleslaw dressing

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine chicken, BBQ sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
  3. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  4. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the BBQ sauce.
  5. In a bowl, combine coleslaw mix and coleslaw dressing. Mix well.
  6. To assemble sliders, place a generous amount of pulled chicken on the bottom half of each slider roll.
  7. Top with coleslaw and place the top half of the roll on top.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your BBQ pulled chicken sliders!
