  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Tender, juicy BBQ ribs coated in a homemade barbecue sauce, perfect for grilling or baking. These ribs are sure to impress at any cookout!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat or your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs for better tenderness.
  3. Rub the ribs with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. If grilling, place the ribs bone-side down on the grill. Cook for about 2-3 hours, flipping occasionally and basting with BBQ sauce during the last 30 minutes.
  5. If baking, place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover tightly with another layer of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and brush the ribs with BBQ sauce. Return to the grill or oven for an additional 15-30 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized.
  7. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the seasoning overnight.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the ribs.
  • Feel free to experiment with different BBQ sauces or add your favorite spices.
