Description

A simple and flavorful beef and broccoli stir-fry that’s quick to make and packed with protein.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and brown sugar. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Add broccoli and beef broth. Cover and cook for 3 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  5. Return beef to the pan and stir-fry for another minute.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil and serve hot.

Notes

  • Slice beef thinly for faster cooking.
  • Adjust soy sauce if you prefer less salt.
  • For extra spice, add red pepper flakes.
