  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

These beef and vegetable skewers are a delicious and easy way to enjoy a flavorful meal on the grill. Perfect for summer barbecues or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 zucchini, sliced into thick rounds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Skewers (metal or soaked wooden)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add the beef cubes and vegetables to the marinade. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between beef and veggies.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite herbs or spices to the marinade.
  • These skewers can also be cooked in the oven under a broiler if a grill is not available.
  • Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preferences or seasonal availability.
