- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan over high heat. Cook beef until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to the pan. Stir-fry bell peppers, broccoli, and carrot for 4-5 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return beef to the pan. Add water and hoisin sauce. Stir well.
- Drizzle with sesame oil. Cook for another minute.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Slice beef thinly for quick cooking.
- Use any vegetables you have on hand.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Double the sauce if you prefer a saucier dish.
