Description

A quick and healthy beef and veggie stir fry served with jasmine rice. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add vegetables and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  5. Return beef to the pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  6. Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and add to the pan. Stir until sauce thickens.
  7. Serve hot over cooked jasmine rice.

  • Slice beef thinly for quicker cooking.
