- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Mix well.
- Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until pliable. Drain and cool.
- Place a generous spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides to secure the filling.
- Arrange the cabbage rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together tomato sauce, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the cabbage rolls.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes, until the beef is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
