- 500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Brown the beef strips for 2-3 minutes, then remove from pan.
- Cook onions and mushrooms until soft.
- Stir in flour, then add beef broth and mustard.
- Return beef to pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Season with salt and pepper.
Notes
- Use full-fat sour cream for best texture.
- Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
- Serve immediately to prevent sauce from separating.
