  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash until smooth.
  2. In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic until translucent. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until beef is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Mix cooked beef mixture with mashed potatoes, cheese, and parsley until combined.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out dough into thin circles. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the edges over to seal and shape into rolls.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Brush with beaten egg for a shiny finish.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
