- 1.5 lbs beef tenderloin
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Rub beef tenderloin with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Sear beef in a hot skillet for 3 minutes per side.
- Transfer beef to oven and roast for 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add flour, stirring for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until thickened.
- Slice beef and serve with the creamy gravy.
