Ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the beef on all sides.
  3. Remove beef and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until golden.
  5. Add garlic and thyme, cook for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  7. Slice beef and serve with mushroom sauce.
