Description
A rich and flavorful beef tenderloin served with a creamy mushroom sauce.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs beef tenderloin
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the beef on all sides.
- Remove beef and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until golden.
- Add garlic and thyme, cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Slice beef and serve with mushroom sauce.

- Let beef rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Use fresh thyme for best flavor.
