Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef tips and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  5. Return beef to the skillet and add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until beef is tender.
  7. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the sauce to thicken.
  8. Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes.
