Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mixed berries and set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions, or use homemade custard.
  3. In a trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer the ingredients: start with a layer of pound cake cubes, followed by a layer of vanilla pudding, then a layer of mixed berries, and finally a layer of whipped cream.
  4. Repeat the layers until the dish is full, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
  5. If desired, sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the whipped cream for added sweetness.
  6. Garnish with mint leaves for a pop of color.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
