  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp kirsch (cherry brandy)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • French bread, cubed, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic.
  2. Pour in the wine and lemon juice and heat gently.
  3. Gradually add the grated cheeses, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
  4. Dissolve the cornstarch in kirsch and add to the cheese mixture.
  5. Season with pepper and stir well.
  6. Serve with cubed bread for dipping.
