Delicious homemade cinnamon rolls with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add butter, eggs, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix to form a dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread melted butter over it.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over the butter.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- For softer rolls, cover with a towel while baking.
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
