A delicious bone-in prime rib roast cooked to perfection in a mirror oven.
Ingredients

- 1 bone-in prime rib roast (5–7 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the mirror oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Rub the roast with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the roast in the mirror oven, bone side down.
- Cook for 20 minutes at 450°F (232°C).
- Reduce the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and continue cooking for about 2 hours.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 130°F (54°C) for medium rare.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of the roast.
- Let the roast rest for even cooking.
