Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 oz bourbon or rum
  • Whipped cream for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat milk and heavy cream over medium heat until warm.
  2. Whisk in pumpkin puree, cocoa powder, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in bourbon or rum.
  5. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick.
  6. Serve warm.
