- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.
- In a bowl, whisk together bourbon, honey, soy sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper.
- Thread chicken cubes onto skewers.
- Brush skewers with half of the glaze.
- Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill skewers for 5-6 minutes per side, basting with the remaining glaze.
- Cook until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- If grilling isn’t an option, bake skewers at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Add bell peppers or onions to skewers for extra flavor.
- Double the glaze for dipping.
