- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced onions
- 4 cups bread cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Add salt and pepper to the egg mixture.
- In a greased baking dish, layer bread cubes, bell peppers, onions, and cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until set.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked sausage or turkey meat for extra protein.
- Substitute vegetables based on your preference.
- This can be prepared a day in advance and baked in the morning.
